Kiloblocks Lite Game App Review

What is Kiloblocks Lite?

To be perfectly frank, Kiloblocks Lite is yet another clone of the ever popular Minecraft formula. You mine, craft, and build in a pixelated block based environment. It might sound a little harsh to label it as such, but that’s the honest truth. It’s a knockoff of a popular game, trying to cash in on the community’s love for another title. Moreover, this is just the lite version of the game, which means it doesn’t even include the full range of features that the paid one has.

Should you get Kiloblocks Lite?

Unfortunately, this is one of those situations in which we have no choice but to be upfront; if you can get Minecraft, you’re better off doing that than getting Kiloblocks Lite. That’s because there’s just no conceivable advantage to getting Kiloblocks Lite over the game it is copying. It has the same core elements of gameplay, but they are not only less refined, they aren’t even that complex. We can say without a shadow of a doubt that Minecraft just has more to do, and has more content. Moreover, one has to consider that one of these games is a knockoff, and one of these games receives regular support from the developers because it is extremely successful.

You can trust that Minecraft will continue to receive updates and bug fixes as time goes on, but you can’t say the same for Kiloblocks Lite. It’s just another reason to not really bother with it at all.

That said, if you just really want to give the game a try, it’s not like it is completely terrible. The controls are fine and the graphics look nice, it’s just that you don’t really do anything in this game that you can’t do in another game much better. It is what it is.

Ultimately Kiloblocks Lite is alright for clone of another more successful game, but that doesn’t make it any less of cheap knockoff trying to ride on the coattails of another franchise without actually matching its content.

Pros:

-Graphics and controls are acceptable

Cons:

-Offers no particular advantages over the game it is copying

Details: Age Range, OS, Etc.

This game is rated E for Everyone and requires Android 2.3.3 and up to play. The game is free to download and play, but it does have a paid alternative on the store as well.
