Archery Go Game App Review
What is Archery Go?
As you might have surmised, this is a game about archery, and it is fairly straightforward. Using your fingers and your touchscreen, you utilize a bow and arrow to participate in various different game modes, such as tournament shooting, trick shooting, and even player versus player competition. There are many different bows to choose from with various effects and stats, so there’s a lot of variety in how you perform on all of these different game modes.
Should you get Archery Go?
Despite the game’s claims, Archery Go will not actually improve your real archery skills. Needless to say, a lot of things go into real archery, and an app in no way prepares you for any of that. But hey, games like to bluster, it makes them sound cool. So if you wanted to actually sharpen your archery skills, this game isn’t for you. If what you want is to play what is essentially a precision shooting game, then you’ll probably enjoy it.
As said above, there are many different game modes to enjoy in this app. You can test your precision in a traditional target shoot, trick shots where you have to go through multiple targets at special angles, or even versus with a real player. There’s also many bows to choose from, with different performances to them. Along with the frequent changes in scenery, this all makes for a game with a good bit of variety to it.
Unfortunately, the game does have a major downside, and that’s the extremely hefty number of ads. Regardless of what game type you engage in, you’ll have to deal with an ad after every single round, which is a serious nuisance. Moreover, there’s no easy way to get rid of these ads; if you want to pay to remove them, you’ll have to pay for a subscription that is a staggering $10 a month, which is more than anyone should spend on just removing ads from a game.
Ultimately, Archery Go is a fun game that has a lot of diversity and unique gameplay involved in it. You can definitely enjoy yourself playing this game. However, the plethora of ads that you have to shell out tons of cash to get rid of are major drawback that we just can’t condone.
-Many different bows to play with for varying gameplay experience
-Lots of different game modes so you can test your skills in various ways
-A whole lot of ads that you can’t get rid of unless you pay exorbitant amounts of money
